An AI team without hiring one.

Grip Clean sells hand cleaner and workshop products to US garages and trades. With everything done by hand, Bryce needed tools built for his business that he could run and change himself.

While I thought I was pretty good at AI, Marcus took it up to a whole nother level for everything on our business. Agents, workflows, you name it, lead generation. We had an idea, and then Marcus just took it to a level 10.

When we have a really cool AI idea, Marcus never shoots it down in any sort of way. It's always a yes, we can.

The challenge.

Grip Clean competes on Amazon and Shopify, where the listing, the images and the reviews decide whether a product sells. Bryce knew AI could take on much of that work. He is technical enough to build the tools himself, but running the business left him no time to.

Off-the-shelf agents were never the answer. In his words they were generic and scary. He wanted tools built around his products, his brand and his customers, that he could own and tune himself.

So the work that grows an ecommerce brand was done by hand or not at all: every Amazon listing, every product image set, every blog post and every newsletter.

And there was no engine for new business. Sales came through word of mouth alone, with no outbound and no list of who to go after.

The AI suite.

An AI suite of ten tools for the work that used to be done by hand, from listings and content to finding new customers and following them up. Built in the order he needed them and handed over as each one was finished.

  1. Selling on Amazon

    • Listing BuilderTurns a product and its selling points into a finished Amazon listing: title, bullets, description and keywords, with the claims he can't legally make kept out.
    • Image AgentOne clean product photo becomes the full ten-image Amazon set, A+ content and static ads, in his brand's look.
  2. Content

    • Blog Post CreatorA topic in, a search-optimised Shopify blog post out, in his voice and with images.
    • Newsletter AgentBuilds his email campaigns block by block, ready to paste into Shopify Email.
  3. Customers and leads

    • Customer InsightsReads his Amazon reviews and his competitors', flags the complaints and feeds the words buyers use back into his listings.
    • Lead GeneratorFinds businesses that look like his best customers, scores them and finds the right person to contact.
  4. Sales follow-up

    • Email Follow-upSends a new lead its first email in one click, then hands it to the voice agent.
    • AI Voice AgentCalls each lead from his own number, asks his qualifying questions and books the interested ones into his sales lead's calendar.
  5. Day to day

    • Email AssistantDrafts inbox replies in the brand voice. Drafts only, he sends.
    • Audit AgentChecks everything the other tools make before it goes out. It flags problems and never edits.

The results.

10AI tools in his suite, built to order
7Days from his go-ahead to his first two tools, live on his machine
115New leads from the Lead Generator in five weeks

Within a week of saying go, Bryce had his first two tools running on his own machine: a Listing Builder and an Image Agent that turn one product and one photo into a finished Amazon listing with its full image set. The rest followed in the order he needed them, each one handed over the day it was ready.

Then came the part that changed how Grip Clean finds customers. The Lead Generator searches for businesses that look like his best customers, scores each one, finds the right person to contact and drafts the first email. In five weeks it put 115 new businesses into his pipeline. Bryce said it himself, unprompted: been able to use the lead generator, has been killing it for us.

He wired it into his own system as the leads table his team works from, then asked us to go further. Now one click sends a lead its first email. Minutes later an AI voice agent follows up by phone, calling from Grip Clean's own number. It asks his qualifying questions, books interested buyers straight into his sales lead's calendar and saves the outcome, a summary and the recording back on the lead.

What started as two tools is now a full AI suite across the business: listings, content, customer insight and a sales pipeline that finds, contacts and follows up new business for him. In Bryce's words, We had an idea, and then Marcus just took it to a level 10.

Why it worked.

  1. Built in the order he needed.

The two tools he needed most were in his hands before the rest were started.

  2. Everything in his accounts.

Nothing runs on ours. If we stopped working together tomorrow, every tool keeps working.

  3. It grew because it worked.

A fixed list of tools became an ongoing account, with the next stage already scoped.
